The middle school years are a period of transition, both to high school and its rigorous academic standards, and to the challenges of adulthood. That is why we have integrated these two important dimensions into a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes intellectual discipline and high academic results while answering the deep aspiration of our little women to join the society as adult members.

 

I cut some of the above and removed the word “tried” … you seem to be doing it not just trying to do it. I think you were trying to emphasize the transitions in the first sentence but the grammar was a bit off … less is more?  

 

To satisfy their need for social interactions, we privilege teamwork in the classroom and organize national and international field trips so students can see the world and participate in its march. Their exploration of society is completed with practical projects in all fields of studies, science in particular. Combining academic challenges and social openness, these projects help our girls to understand for example the influence of nature, science, and technology on human activities and therefore to develop a sense of belonging in the world.  

 

The development of social awareness is deepened through religious classes where a great emphasis is placed on moral values and duties incumbent upon global citizens. Besides the leadership skills acquired in their group works, our girls learn the importance of respect and the necessity to emulate role models. In our art program, for example, students choose their art major from among ten classes and learn a specific artistic skill beside an master artist.
